THE JMW BLADES
Three distinct blade constructions. One JMW shape.
JMW blades are engineered around feel, dwell, spin and control, with speed tuned differently for different players.
WOW, WOW Plus and WOW Prime each have a distinct playing personality. What they share is the JMW emphasis on connection to the ball — and the JMW Arc shape.
THREE BLADES. THREE DISTINCT PERSONALITIES.
WOW
Feel, dwell, spin and control in balance.
WOW is the heart of the JMW line. Its character is connection to the ball — feel, dwell, touch, spin and control. It has enough pace for an all-around attacking game, but speed is not what defines it.
For the player who wants to feel the ball, shape the shot and keep control while still being able to attack.
WOW PLUS
More speed. Very spinny.
WOW Plus takes the WOW concept in a faster direction. Its outer-fiber construction adds speed and raises the spin ceiling while preserving much of the touch, dwell and connection that define the WOW family.
For the player who wants more offensive pace than WOW while still valuing feel and spin.
WOW PRIME
Linear. Stable. Fast.
WOW Prime takes a different construction approach: no balsa, and a deep low-density kiri core. The response is linear, stable and direct, with excellent dwell — especially suited to driving, blocking and countering, while still providing very good spin.
For the player who wants a direct, predictable response they can lean on stroke after stroke.
WHICH ONE FITS YOUR GAME?
WOW — Choose this if your priority is feel, dwell, spin, control and connection to the ball.
WOW PLUS — Choose this if you want more speed and a very high spin ceiling while keeping much of the touch and dwell of WOW.
WOW PRIME — Choose this if you prefer a more linear, stable and direct response for driving, blocking and countering, with excellent dwell and very good spin.
ONE SHAPE ACROSS THE JMW LINE
MORE HITTING AREA.
WITHOUT MAKING THE BLADE LARGER.
All three JMW blades are built around the JMW Arc. The goal was simple to state and difficult to solve: create more useful hitting area without simply making the blade larger.
The JMW Arc redistributes the available playing area to provide approximately 6% more area in the primary hitting zone while keeping the blade’s overall area and weight virtually the same as a conventional blade.
MORE AREA WHERE IT MATTERS.
NOT SIMPLY MORE BLADE.
Conventional shape available by special order.
JMW Arc compared with a conventional blade.
Solid outline: JMW Arc. Dashed outline: conventional blade.
Green: area shifted into the primary hitting zone. Red: area redistributed elsewhere.
DEVELOPMENT SAMPLES
A limited number of JMW development blades are currently available at reduced prices while testing continues. Additional constructions, including WOW Wood and WOW Pro, remain under evaluation.
Some development samples were produced in earlier Arc and Crest geometries and may differ from the final JMW Arc.
Player feedback — including criticism — is an important part of the development process.
